The Trout Museum of Art, with co-hosts Bergstrom Automotive and Community First Credit Union, are proud to present Made to Order, their commissioned artwork exhibition on view September 1 – November 8. The Appleton, WI community commissioned over 50 works of art and raised over $60,000 to support artists and TMA. Now you can view that artwork!

Made to Order Online Auction

In addition to viewing this exhibition, the Made to Order artists are offering artwork for auction. During our 10-day fundraiser, August 27 – September 5, you can bid on artworks on view in the 3rd floor Shattuck Gallery or online at troutmuseum.org. You can also bid on museum experiences such as art classes, parties, and more. TMA’s goal is to raise $200,000 to support art in their community.

Art is Her

June 15 – July 31, 2020, Solo Exhibition

I am humbled and honored to announce that the Trout Museum of Art has selected me to be an artist in the Art is Her exhibition series. From June 15 to July 31, nine of my paintings will be on display in the Atrium Gallery. Thank you, TMA!

“The Hands That Built America”, Acrylic, 36″ x 36″

About the Art is Her exhibition series – The year 2020 marks the 100th anniversary of the 19th Amendment, guaranteeing women’s right to vote. The passage is the largest expansion of democracy in U.S. history. Throughout 2020 and 2021, Art is Her celebrates women artists and explores the relevance of equal rights in art today.

Stats to think about:

  • A recent data survey of the permanent collections of 18 prominent art museums in the U.S. found that out of over 10,000 artists, 87% are male, and 85% are white. —Public Library of Science 2019
  • In a study of 820,000 exhibitions across the public and commercial sectors in 2018, only one third were by women artists. —The Art Newspaper 2019
  • Only 13.7% of living artists represented by galleries in Europe and North America are women. —artnet News

40th Annual SECURA Fine Arts Exhibition

“Mr. Blue Sky” will be traveling to another Art Museum in 2020!

Northeast Wisconsin’s top competitive, juried fine arts exhibitions returns for its 40th year. The SECURA Fine Arts Exhibition features work from the region’s most talented artists. Monetary prizes and ribbons are awarded to the top-juried pieces.
